Each ceramic piece undergoes a journey of transformation. Raw clay is wedged to remove air pockets, shaped on the wheel or by hand, dried slowly to prevent cracking, bisque fired at 1000 degrees, glazed with our signature formulas, and fired again to vitrification.
This process takes between two and four weeks, but the result is pottery that may last for generations. We believe in creating objects that improve with age, developing a patina that tells the story of use.
